Dutch Oven Comparison


I baked two boules in two different Dutch ovens.  They were from the same batch of dough, baked in the same oven at the same time. One was baked in a Staub 2.75 quart enameled Dutch oven, the other in a Lodge Combo Cooker. Can you tell the difference?  I can’t. The Staub costs between $150.00 and $200.00.  The Lodge costs around $50.00.

The one on the right was baked in the Lodge.
